Collaborating with Shiel Sexton and Ratio Design, Design 27 worked on the major corporate headquarters renovation on Monument Circle. Both Indianapolis Power & Light and AES are headquartered in this facility complete with a 10-story renovation. This historic building, originally built in 1927 with a secondary structure completed in 1963, has been modernized with space, furniture, and technology upgrades throughout.
The open floor plan includes huddle areas and conference rooms with high tech capabilities. This complex project included multiple phases with quick timeframes for completion. A major highlight of the renovation is the video walls in the first floor lobby area that are capable of synchronizing with the iconic exterior LED lighting for special events and presentations.
