The Milt and Jean Cole Family Wellness and Fitness Center at Indiana University Kokomo, completed in August 2013, transformed the campus by providing a space dedicated to health and wellness. Renovating 21,000 square feet of the library’s lower level, the center was funded in part by a $1.25 million donation from the Cole family, the largest cash gift in the campus’s history. The design incorporates areas for cardio and strength training, a jogging and walking track, and fitness spaces tailored for both recreational users and student-athletes.
