John Guindon

John was born, raised, and currently lives in the Indianapolis area. He graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in music technology. During his undergraduate studies, he began working on a variety of live events as an audio-visual technician, and eventually, sporadic gigs evolved into a ten-year career as an independent contractor. He worked for a variety of companies encompassing multiple disciplines. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and his lack of work life balance, John felt like he needed to make a career change. He found a new full-time job in August 2020 working for IBEW Local 481 as a telecommunications apprentice. He spent two years learning and training on the installation side of the business and recently joined us in November 2022 to begin his career on the design side of the business. Outside of work, John enjoys watching and following sports, searching for and eating amazing local food, watching television shows and movies, listening to music, and spending time with his family.
