The new Oxford Lane Library, completed in September 2015, is part of the planned downtown development of Oxford, OH. Design 27 worked with SHP on this new facility which included a full technology package encompassing audio/visual systems and digital displays throughout the space. Our favorite aspect of this project is the staircase feature using shredded, discarded books protected by a glass wall.
The new Oxford Lane Library includes modern amenities in a unique space designed at developing downtown Oxford. Facility highlights include a large children’s area with interactive exhibits, wireless technology, public access computers throughout the building, and an integrated security system for protecting valuable library assets.
